Workstream Announces Workstream Performance 6.0

On-Demand Solution Provider Makes Huge Strides in Competency-based Performance Management; Seizes Talent Management Market Position

Ottawa, ON. – February 24, 2006 - Workstream Inc™ (NASDAQ: WSTM), a provider of On-Demand Enterprise Workforce Management software, today announced the release of Workstream Performance 6.0, now generally available either as part of the Workstream TalentCenter suite or as a stand alone solution. The Workstream Performance 6.0 product greatly expands the Company’s performance management solution capabilities. Among its many features is the ability to track employee performance against organizational goals, using multiple types of employee appraisals, including 360 appraisals. The performance assessment and evaluation functionality leverages hundreds of roles and common job profiles and utilizes an extensive and unique competency dictionary that contains more than 9,000 competencies.

As highlighted in a Gartner report entitled, Talent Management Application Suites Can Enhance Workforce Effectiveness, June 14, 2005, “Companies historically have supplemented their administrative HR applications (personnel, payroll and benefits) with niche talent management applications. They want fewer, more-integrated solutions to support more-strategic human capital management.”

The Workstream Performance 6.0 product meets these strategic HCM requirements. It allows HR administrators, managers and employees to synchronize their performance management processes with a configurable and easy-to-use interface. The Workstream Performance 6.0 product provides a truly global solution that can be deployed quickly to handle European and Asian languages. Workstream Performance is also a flexible solution that allows customers to easily configure and administer the systems themselves, without IT intervention. Workstream Performance can be deployed as a stand alone application, integrated with other applications such as Workstream Compensation to create a complete Pay-for-Performance solution, or deployed as a component of an entire Workstream TalentCenter suite roll out.

The Workstream Performance 6.0 product can be efficiently integrated with other major ERP systems, including SAP and Oracle-PeopleSoft. Because it is complementary to these systems, Workstream Performance 6.0 helps to extend their value in a fraction of the time and expense of building out this functionality from the ground up. Workstream Performance 6.0 is being used by a variety of organizations including General Dynamics, Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Stora Enso and Time Warner.
