Workstream Announces Workstream Benefits Enrollment 6.0

On-Demand Solution Provider Releases Latest Benefits Solution

Ottawa, ON. – June 1, 2006 - Workstream Inc™ (NASDAQ: WSTM), a provider of On-Demand Enterprise Workforce Management software, yesterday announced the general availability of Workstream Benefits Enrollment 6.0, a web-based benefit enrollment and administration application.

Workstream Benefits Enrollment 6.0 is accessible as a standalone solution or in conjunction with other Workstream TalentCenter suite applications, such as Workstream Communicator and Total Rewards Statements. The Workstream Benefits Enrollment solution gives employees and administrators the ability to efficiently view and make changes to employee benefits online, thus reducing employer benefit costs while improving the way benefits are delivered.

“These enhancements to the Benefit enrollment application represent the latest example of Workstream’s ongoing commitment to making investments and improvements in its products. Coupled with other benefit related applications, such as Workstream Communicator and Workstream Total Rewards Statement, companies can deliver a very broad and deep capability to their employees, benefit administrators and call center representatives,” stated Michael Mullarkey, CEO and Chairman at Workstream.

Workstream Benefits Enrollment 6.0 allows employees and administrators to view and update company employee benefit programs. It also gives power users the ability to make administrative and configuration changes to the system through a non-technical administrative interface.

The 6.0 release adds a number of significant enhancements to the administrative and eligibility engine areas of the application. Key Features of Workstream Benefits Enrollment 6.0:

  • Benefit Administration Override Capability – Gives administrative users the ability to override system settings and accommodate exceptions and unique cases that need to be handled.
  • Benefit Administration Rate Update Capability – Gives administrators the ability to make adjustment to benefit rates utilizing the same non-technical interface that they use to make other system changes.
  • Enrollment History View – Allows administrators to view, on one page, a history of enrollment changes so they can easily track and communicate historical data.
  • Eligibility Engine Enhancements – Provides additional support for geographic and tenure based benefit eligibility rules.
